1. What is a cookie?
Cookies are small data files stored by a browser when a website is visited. They may be used to maintain sessions, remember preferences, improve security and, where permitted, provide analytics or functional services.
2. Cookie categories
- Essential: required for login, security and core website functions.
- Functional: optional features such as live support.
- Analytics: optional measurement of website usage and performance.
- Marketing: optional advertising or campaign measurement technologies, if enabled in the future.
3. Your choices
Non-essential categories are disabled unless the user chooses to enable them. The cookie panel provides accept, reject and manage-preferences options and preferences can be changed later.
4. JivoChat and analytics
JivoChat is treated as a functional service and is loaded only under the configured consent rule. Google Analytics, if configured, is loaded only after analytics permission is granted.
